Yavapai Regional Transit Drives the Heritage Festival

2016 Chino Valley Heritage FestivalThe first ever Chino Valley Heritage Festival was held on Saturday, May 21, 2016.  It was held at two venues. Yavapai Regional Transit provided transportation between the venues for anyone needing transportation.

The first venue was the Chino Valley Area Chamber of Commerce, where the Prescott Regulators took the stage throughout the day along with the Rusty Pistols Cowboy Band. Food service was provided by real Chuck Wagons and their award winning cooks. There was an Art & Crafts show and sale and the Chino Valley 4-H Petting Zoo. Lollipop Acres Fiber did spinning and weaving and have the sheep she spins with her. A blacksmith  demonstrated this historic craft; the Chino Valley Historical Society and many vendors participated with interactive games and booths, as a Goat Soap making demonstration was even available.
